Staying high-vibe myth
Today we’re talking about why controlling your emotions is quietly sabotaging your manifestation in 3 digestible and actionable points. And I’m going to show you three specific ways this happens – ways that nobody talks about but that change everything once you understand them.
Because I totally get it. You’re exhausted. You’ve tried all the techniques. You’re working so hard to stay positive, to embody the version of you who already has it. And the second doubt creeps in or you feel anxious, you immediately try to flip it, affirm it away, or distract yourself.
Because if you’re supposed to be the version of you who has it all, surely that person doesn’t feel these emotions, right?
You’ve been told that the secret to successful manifestation is to stay high-vibe to match the frequency of the one who has it. But high-vibe doesn’t mean feeling only positive emotions in the first place.
Just to be clear, it doesn’t mean to suppress them, to NOT feel them. The only good engagement with the emotions that are the artefact of the past is to feel them to release them forever. This is safe and something that speeds up your manifestations, as I expand more about in this blog post.
Point #1: Emotions are artefacts of the past – stop living there
When you try to control your emotions, you’re actually stuck in the past instead of living in the now, where life actually happens. Think about it. That emotion you’re feeling? It’s already a shadow of something that occurred – a trigger, an old belief, a past experience. And by worrying about it, suppressing it, analysing it, trying to flip it into something positive, you’re giving all your energy to what already was instead of what is here now.
There is only this present moment. And when you’re busy controlling and fighting what you feel, you miss the opportunity to actually experience what’s here and now. You miss your life.
Point #2: Fighting your emotions gives life to your old story
Feeling your emotions doesn’t give life to your old story – it burns them and releases you from them and their effects. Only if you resist them, controlling emotions in manifestation, or flip them into positivity, you’re feeding the old beliefs behind them.
Here’s what most people don’t understand: emotions trapped in your body are the reason you have negative thoughts and experience doubt in the first place. It goes like this – you have an experience or trigger, you feel an emotion, and if you don’t let it flow through you, it gets trapped in your body. And those unprocessed emotions? They generate thoughts.
So when we fight these emotions, we’re actually reinforcing the old beliefs. We’re telling our nervous system that these feelings are still dangerous, still true, still something to fear. The energy we give it makes it feel real to us, so we keep reacting. We’re essentially creating our own suffering and then coming up with a thousand manifestation techniques to overwrite what we created. It’s like tilting at windmills – inventing illusory problems just to invent solutions to fight them.
But here’s what clicked for me: all experiences are your own creation. Even the negative ones. And to fight them is to reject them – which is to reject yourself.

Emotions are meant to flow through us and leave us. They’re temporary experiences, like weather passing through. But when you try to control them, you block this natural flow. You unnecessarily prolong their power over you.
Control is a mechanism of the scared. Of the ego. It’s meant to keep you in survival mode. Clinging to control means you don’t trust your life – and that’s a result of trauma you experienced in your past – even the small one.
Do you know what actually happens when you stop trying to control your emotions? When you just acknowledge and accept what is and let it be, so that you can let it go? It goes away on its own. The energy behind it burns out and you’re free. You find peace. Your mind quiet down. Occasional doubt or negative emotions might show up here and there, but it holds no grasp over you because you now accept everything. Knowing you’re always safe because you’re the I AM – awareness of being.

The fastest way through negative emotions
We’ve all been there: controlling emotions in manifestation because we thought that feeling them messes up our manifestations.
The fastest way through is to feel without the need to change the experience. Without blaming others or analysing it to death. Just feel it. Let it move through you. That’s it. It’s really that simple.
