What Manifestation Community Doesn’t Understand

You’ve been doing everything right. Affirmations, visualisation, raising your vibration. But then doubt creeps in and you panic – because doesn’t that mean you just ruined everything? We’ve been sold this idea that manifestation is all about staying high-vibe 24/7. Flip your thoughts the moment doubt appears. Remove negative emotions because they’re messing up your frequency. Saying “no” to what is to stay delulu – because delulu is the solulu. And when you feel anger or fear, you spiral thinking – oh shit, it’s not going to happen now, is it? What is going on?

Here’s what nobody’s telling you: that’s not how this works. Just feeling high vibe in manifesting isn’t the solution – it’s misleading.

High vibe thought policing gone wrong

I know what it’s like to police every single thought. To feel sadness bubbling up and immediately try to flip it into gratitude because you’re terrified that feeling sad for even five minutes will push your manifestation away.

Opposing the mind energises it.

You’re exhausted from trying to be positive all the time, and honestly? Your energy probably feels more stagnant than ever because you’re holding everything in. And it’s normal after we’ve been brainwashed into feeling high vibe in manifesting.

The downside of this approach is that we become hyper-sensitive, and thus, we react to everything we feel that’s not in line with the perfection we decided is for us. I’ve been there too. I started to notice everything and tried to uproot it immediately. But this hyper-sensitivity? It’s not peace. It feels like work 24/7.

And look – it’s good at first when we’re learning about our emotions, so don’t be discouraged if this is you right now, this awareness is key. But there’s a time and place for it, and we need to move towards the approach that all is well, no matter if it feels light or heavy. It’s here and that’s a fact, just like the sky is blue. Radical acceptance, baby.

Reason #1: High-Vibe Doesn’t Mean No Emotions

I’ve shared the Map of Consciousness by David R. Hawkins with you before, and people misunderstand it constantly. They think it’s saying that anger, fear, sadness is low-vibrational, so you should never feel it. That’s not it at all.

You’re going to feel the full spectrum of human emotions. Always. Even enlightened beings – Eckhart Tolle, Osho, David Hawkins himself – they felt sad, angry, fearful. The difference? They understood these were temporary experiences, and they were the awareness in which the experience arose. That’s it. That’s the only difference between them and YOU.

Peace, joy, love, enlightenment – those are at the top of the map. But that means that no matter what you feel, when you approach it with peace, it’s high-vibe. Nothing is low-vibe unless you’re not grounded in your true nature as awareness – unless you’re letting temporary emotions define your entire reality.

And this, of course, excludes moments of stress when you’re in physical danger – the fear is here to protect us and make a move and save our lives, but this survival instinct creeps into territories in our lives where they don’t belong – like writing emails, selling products, giving a presentation or expressing what you feel to your partner. YOU ARE SAFE. It’s just that the ego is a bit of a drama queen and you can watch why it is so in this video here. Reason #2: Doubt Is Natural – It’s Your Nervous System Trying to Keep You Safe

Here’s what nobody tells you: doubt is a completely natural part of this process. It’s your nervous system trying to keep you safe.

Think about it. You’ve been dwelling in your conditioning for how long? Years? Decades? Following what feels safe. And then suddenly you start doing affirmations, visualizations, feeding your subconscious new information: I want to be more now.

Your nervous system backlashes, even if you’re forcing feeling high vibe in manifesting. It’s a sign of protest from all these old parts of self that are screaming, “Wait, this is dangerous!” And it is dangerous because it’s unfamiliar. Your nervous system is suddenly thrown into something that feels like it could kill you – not literally, but to the old identity, it is death. So it does what it can to stop you.

You have two choices in that moment:

  1. Come back to the old self who fits the old definition of safe
  2. Continue and let your nervous system expand (because it will, over time)

When you choose to continue in expansion, you’re literally creating a new definition of safe. You’re expanding your capacity to hold more than you have now. Think of it like a container – you’re making it bigger so it can receive what you’re calling in.

Reason #3: What’s Actually Low-Vibe? Repression.

So here’s what’s truly low-vibrational: repression, suppression, overwriting, flipping thoughts before you’ve actually processed them, rejection, denial, delusion.

The emotions themselves? The thoughts? They’re not low-vibe. The way you see them as ultimate truth is.

When doubt comes up, it’s your deciding moment: Does this still feel like truth to me, or am I a new person now?

The only low-vibe thing about doubt is if you let it take up space and hold the meaning of truth in your current reality. If you allow a thought that appears in your mind to become the story instead of just a shadow of the old story playing out.

Become *open* to manifest

This whole journey – manifestation, spiritual awakening – it’s a stepping stone on the path to self-acceptance. It’s not actually about the text from your ex or the zeros in your bank account. Those are lovely by-products, sure. But what it’s really about is you coming back to yourself. Remembering who you are.

You’re not behind, you’ve just been misled by the community that is based on providing you guarantees without addressing the most crucial part: you’re not this human and this body is your manifestation vehicle.

And before we understand how to work WITH the body, we will continue to “manifest” in frustration. Feeling high vibe in manifesting won’t help you if you’re not feeling safe to receive that what you’er calling in.

So here’s what I want you to understand if you’re wondering why manifesting doesn’t work for you: manifestation was never really about getting the thing. It’s about learning about yourself and allowing yourself to feel safe now. All the things you’ve ever wanted have one thing in common – you. And you can’t receive what you want when you’re disconnected from yourself, bypassing your emotions, and white-knuckling control.

The solution isn’t a better technique. It’s total self-acceptance and feeling what you’re feeling without resistance. It’s expanding your nervous system so you can actually hold what you want when it comes.
