Why the mind gets busier in manifesting
Here’s what I need you to hear: this is completely normal. Your mind isn’t broken. You’re not doing it wrong. And there’s actually a reason this is happening that no one’s really talking about. That’s what we’re covering in this video.

The cause your mind is on fire
You’ve probably heard that you need to think positive, flip your negative thoughts, choose better thoughts to create your future. And listen, I bought into this too for a long time. But this is only half the truth, and it’s why so many of us are exhausted.
Because here’s what’s actually happening: your mind has one job, and that job is to keep you alive. That’s it. Your mind and body are designed for survival, and they’re really good at their job. So even when you’re not in actual danger, your mind doesn’t have an off button. It keeps giving you content, keeps scanning for threats, keeps thinking because that’s literally its function.
And when you try to fight those thoughts, when you try to flip them into positivity or force yourself to think differently? You’re actually giving them more energy. You’re engaging in a battle with your own mind, and spoiler alert: the mind always wins that game. Because no matter if it gets a positive or negative attention – it gets attention and it energises it even more.
The real culprit
Your thoughts aren’t actually random. They’re manifestations themselves – manifestations of emotions that are trapped in your body, probably since childhood. Based on the emotion you enter a state and it comes with its own set of thoughts. These emotions are connected to limiting beliefs and wounded parts of yourself that once helped you survive. They’re literally your badges of honour from getting through difficult times.
But here’s the problem: you’re an adult now, and these old survival mechanisms are still running the show. They’re impacting how you see yourself, how you see the world, how you interact with your desires.
And why are these emotions still there? Because we never truly allow ourselves to feel them. We suppress, we repress, we distract ourselves with work, entertainment, staying busy, maybe a glass of wine. We do everything except actually feel what’s here. And only feeling frees us from them.
Every belief, every recurring thought – it lives somewhere in your body. It’s not just an abstract, intangible wisp of some sort of logic. Maybe it’s tightness in your chest when you think about money. Maybe it’s that knot in your throat when you try to speak your truth. Maybe it’s tension in your belly or your pelvic floor. Sometimes these trapped emotions even show up as pain, illness, or chronic health conditions.

Calm your mind like this
So what do we do about this?
First, we need to understand something fundamental: you are not the thinker. You’re the awareness that notices the thoughts. You’re not your mind – you’re the one observing your mind. This changes everything.
You are the awareness of being – I AM.
The goal isn’t to control your thoughts or flip them into positivity. The goal is peace that lies in letting them be as they are, without assigning them any meaning. And from that peace, manifestation happens naturally. Not from forcing, not from doing more, but from being. And living this life from your true nature – like an actor playing a role, you, awareness, are experiencing this world through this human.
Here’s what actually works:
1. Let the mind do its thing
Your thoughts are like clouds passing through the sky. You don’t have to grab onto them. You don’t have to fight them. Just notice them. “Oh, there’s a worried thought. There’s a limiting belief.” And let them pass. The more attention you remove from them, the less power they have. This is where your freedom begins.
And if you notice doubt or a limiting belief, you can speak it out loud and decide this isn’t going to be your truth anymore. Make it into a ritual, where your words have the power to let go of what’s holding you back, because they do.
If you want to learn more about it, check how to rest in awareness guided practice I created for you.
2. Feel what’s actually here
This is the piece most people skip. When anxiety comes up, when fear comes up, when that tightness in your chest appears – don’t run from it. Don’t distract yourself. Feel it as it is. Where is it in your body? What does it actually feel like? Not the story about it, but the actual sensation. Feel and listen.
When you do this without resistance, without trying to change the experience, you expand your nervous system’s capacity to receive and hold what you’re calling in – your desires, your dream life, something that felt out of reach for your nervous system before. You heal through increased awareness. And when you release the emotional energy behind these patterns, your true Self takes over – peace, quiet joy, love for life, enjoyment of being. This is your natural state.
3. Practice being, not doing
Sitting in stillness and meditation should be your daily non-negotiables, just experiencing your being – this is how you detach from the person, the thoughts, the emotions, and just observe what is. I actually have an “I Am Observer” meditation on my channel that guides you through this. You can check that video over here. And I had times when I didn’t meditate regularly and these were the times I felt lost and unguided, I always then see myself coming back to sitting in stillness and from that the natural peace comes back. I did this enough times to see the pattern that if I make sitting in my true nature as non-negotiable, all else flows to me in stillness also.
4. The natural self-expression
Now here’s the part that trips most people up: take a deep breath to absorb this info in: you have to remain in stillness long enough to actually experience the materialization of your desires. There’s this gap between the moment you decide “yes, this is for me” and the moment it actually shows up in your reality. And in that gap, you need to remain still. Not physically – but emotionally.
But if you have a lot of trapped emotions in your body, this stillness will feel impossible. It’ll feel unbearable, like you have to do something to speed things up because you want them NOW. And due to this urgency, this is the exact moment when most people reach for another technique, another method, another manifestation hack – the doubt rushes them into control and doing again. Or they give up altogether because it feels like too much – or maybe it doesn’t work and it’s all a lie.
You are *ready* for more
If this is you, if you find yourself constantly switching methods or feeling like you just can’t stay still with yourself, you might really benefit from my program, The Unwavering Manifestor Experience. Emotional regulation in moments exactly like this is one of the core pillars of the program, which serves you not only in manifestation but in all domains of life. Because you can learn all the manifestation techniques in the world, but if you can’t regulate your nervous system in the waiting period, none of it matters if you can’t stay still enough and trusting in the unfolding.
